The Orange County Fair kicks off fair season this week, providing a musical lineup that provides a diverse soundtrack to the summer for festivalgoers. First up on stage as part of the 2015 Toyota Summer Concert Series at Pacific Amphitheatre is America on July 16, featuring original band members Dewey Bunnell and Gerry Beckley. The band is celebrating its 45th anniversary and shares the stage with Orange County’s own Pacific Symphony, which is celebrating its 36th season. The concert starts at 8 p.m. The fair’s bill also includes Long Beach comedian Gabriel Iglesias ( July 17) at the amphitheater as well as Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez ( Aug. 9) and more than a dozen tribute bands at The Hangar. The OC County Fair officials runs from July 17 through Aug. 16 at the OC Fair and Event Center, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa.
