I have Satellite M70 but I do not use SD cards and unfortunately cannot test it on my notebook. Simply test it. I bought SD High Capacity for my camera and I can't use this card in Toshiba's reader! I haven't any problems with old SD cards. Regards, Toy., 08:16 Re: SDHC usage with Satellite Pro M70 I know this is an old thread, but I just managed to get a Satellite Pro M70-137 ( PSM76 E-00500 KEN) to read SDHC cards under Windows 7 32-bit and thought someone might find this helpful. This laptop has a built-in Texas Instruments ( TI) card reader. I had tried all the downloads for this model that I could see on Toshiba's support site, and also the ones that Windows 7 suggested (also from Toshiba's site). These did not work - the light on the card reader would blink on briefly when my 4 GB SDHC card was inserted but then nothing else would happen and the SDHC card did not show up as a drive in Windows Explorer. So I went to the HP support website and searched for a newer version of the Texas Instruments Media Card Reader Driver. I found nothing through the search box on the support page, but searching on the home page of for Texas Instruments Media Card Reader turned up version of the driver (whereas the version Toshiba had been offering was ). Windows 7 is not listed as a compatible operating system but the driver seems to work fine anyway. I then did this (all from an administrator.
