IS-3 Guide by TCSG Greetings fellow tankers, i am leraxx from TSCG. This will be my third guide on tank reviews/articles in representation of my tournament team TCSG. Back to soviet heavy again, today i will be covering the IS-3.   A. Recommended equipment and crew setups From left to right Recommended Equipments Vertical stabilizer mk2, improved ventilation class 3, large-caliber tank gun rammer Vertical stabilizer reduces the bloom during movement and turret rotation, this increases the accuracy when you are approaching the target or in the midst of brawling. I don’t believe in equipping enhanced gun laying drive on this tank as it supposed to benefit tank that snipes often. IS-3 does not mean “ I Snipe-3”. Thus improved ventilation class 3 is preferred over it as increasing the overall stats of the tank is more useful. IS-3’s DPM is already fairly low, so you do not want to keep yourself at a disadvantage by not equipping the gun rammer. For tankers low on budget, you can swap out either the vertical stabilizer or the improved ventilation for the toolbox. Recommended Ammo Layout If you have been hitting your shots properly, 18 AP rounds should be more than sufficient for most battle. 8 APCR rounds are to reserved against the tier 9/10 heavies. The 2 HE rounds are for engaging the occasional paper-armors (such as light tanks and the waffle lines)   Recommended Consumables As usual, small first aid kit, small repair kit and manual fire extinguisher if your priority is earn credit. It fine to swap the manual fire extinguisher for the auto version as this tank tend to catch fire fairly easily. Crew skills set up Commander: 6th sense, Repairs, BIA Gunner: Repairs, Snapshot, BIA, Driver: Preventive Maintenance, Repairs BIA Loader: Safe Stowage, Repairs, BIA 6th sense for the commander’s 1st skill. As IS-3 is prone to catch fire and get ammo-racked, i picked preventive.

The 180 zoom and close up feature really get some fabulous pictures. The flash is balanced. Really affordable to purchase if you get a good used one like I managed too. People cannot believe sometimes that the photos I show them have been taken on a compact zoom - surely not it has to be a Nikon or Canon big SLRWeaknesses:  Wish somehow that it could be digitalised so I don't have to pay for film processing. Would like the zoom to go to 300 perhaps. Bottom Line: I have always had a soft spot for Olympus cameras, ever since my first one when I was a teenager, the Pen FT. Having had Hasselblads and most of the upper end Nikons in my time as a photographer, I find the Olympus IS 3000 is the only one now that I'll take on holidays or work jobs. I take it out because it is compact, fits onto a lightweight tripod, and takes incredibly sharp and well saturated with colour photographs of.

Intrinsically Safe LED Indicator Various Sensing Ranges Analog Voltage Output Temperature Compensation PVC Enclosure Wide Temperature Range Sync/ Tx Input Line View Data Sheet The RPS-409 A- IS3 is an intrinsically safe analog ultrasonic sensor available in a variety of ranges. The RPS-409 A- IS3 sensors can be used in hazardous gas or dust environments classified as Class I, II, or III when used with approved intrinsic safety barrier(s). See the RPS-409 A- IS3 User Manual and Control Drawing No. for further information on installation in hazardous locations. The sensor is self-contained in a 30mm barrel style enclosure, and is powered by 16 – 30 V dc with reverse polarity protection. The RPS-409 A- IS3 has a short circuit protected 0 – 10 V dc analog output. The analog voltage is a fixed volts per inch based on the maximum range of the unit. For example when using the RPS-409 A-80- IS3, the output is a linear 0.125 V per inch. A target placed 10 inches from the sensor will result in an output of 1.25 V, and a target placed 80 inches from the sensor will result in an output of 10 V. The RPS-409 A- IS3 has built-in temperature compensation to provide accurate readings throughout the entire operating temperature range. An LED indicator is provided. The LED is green with no target detected and changes to red when a target is detected. The sensor is completely sealed and connection must be made with a cable having a rating of IP67 or greater. In addition to the analog output line the sensor also has a Sync/ Tx line. This line can be used for connecting multiple sensors together ( Sync) to prevent cross talk, or ( Tx) to control when the sensor transmits. The RPS-409 A- IS3 is designed to take advantage of today’s PLC and computer analog input cards. The numerical values that are programmed into the PLC or computer will determine the zero and span of the sensor. Model Number.
