System Requirements: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows 8.1

I needed to max of the memory of my HP ENVY 14 to 8 GB. It came with 6 GB, a 4 and a 2, I replaced them with a matched pair of 4 GB.
Starting again since the other thread was too large. Something which might have scared off new posters. Try to make new posters feel welcome so they use the lounge instead of starting new threads. Enjoy. and then there was a new owner's lounge. also, I had to reformat my envy 14. never install visual basic pro 2005 onto windows 7. they aren't compatible. Wow, part three already. Is there gonna be another thread for the next (possible) refresh? If and when a refresh comes out, you betcha. Hope the refresh won't disappoint! is the GPU on the 14 upgradeable? no. it's part of the motherboard Try playing a game. Go back to GPU-z. Does it show 1 V? When overclocking or playing games, AMD GPU Clock tool reports 1 V for my i7 envy Discussion in ' HP Envy & HDX' started by 2.0, Mar 24, 2011. Page 2 of 141 < Prev 1 ← → 141 Next > 0.95 Volts. also amd gpu clock tool won't work on my radeon 5650 (like most/all CTO1000s) I'm guessing they made the cards a little bit better/got higher binned cards after some people returned/had envies which couldn't game at 450/800 due to being volted way too low. Whatever. It happens. And my computer works well enough for me gpu wise. I mean at least mine isn't one of those CTO1000s that crashes when gaming after a couple of hours (at least 2 people got one of those on this board). i wish we didnt have to overclock and could just up the voltage to stock. damn you timeline X damn you. well in the end I don't even bother to OC. It works well enough at 450/800 for my needs. I mean if I could OC like a timeline 3820 TG I would but only going up to 550/800 is like.3 or 4 fps which usually doesn't make or break games for me. man. I cannot get the correct ICC profile to stay set for my envy 14. I don't want the blue tint again. Totally forgot how to make the ICC profile stay after a reboot. edit: whatever I just used some program to do it.
