Chicony usb 2 0 camera driver xp hackintosh

System Requirements: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows 8.1

I came across kext made by Andy Vandijck that treats our internal video camera as an i Sight. Any Facetime or Skype users who can try it and report back if it's better than vanilla? Face HD.png This kext is for Primax Product ID=0x4dc7 Vendor ID=0x0461 EDIT: Added all Facetime related info rather than i Sight Attached Thumbnails   Attached Files Anyi Sight Cam Primax.kext.zip (4.8 KB, 1137 views) Originally Posted by atriaventrica Originally Posted by Big Donkey Originally Posted by bkribbs I also have the same device id as lipo. Otherwise, visual change that pleases they eye. Yeah thats what I was gonna say, the only thing that doesn't work is i Movie. I'm going to install the kext and see if that changes. Edit: No change in functionality. Does it show up correctly within the system profiler? Originally Posted by bkribbs Alright. Then we will have to add this! What exactly would I duplicate? I think he means adding multiple ids to the.plist so it recognises all of them. Only other thing I can think of is copying the kext and having a different device id in each which I think is a bit of a waste.
Well I tried on fresh installation your kexts, extras. last week and it got me to RTC: Only Single RAM. or more often to PCI Configuration Begin depending on the parameters I used for booting. I believe I removed the DSTD and some other things and it got me No Sound, No System information ( CPU, Graph, battery indicator wrong) and no Wifi. So I decided to revert and not use your kexts and DSTD. I tested many, many, many kext for each particular item from the list (couple hundred of restarts later). I got most of the things working and for Wifi I'm using the usb micro thumb from realtek, which works with original drivers. But right now I got your DSTD booting without issue but from your kexts I'm only using the 3 mentioned above( Cal Digit. And Wi Fi is not working so my question would be is your DSDT expecting some of your kexts for it to work. (obviously you understand the relationship between DSDT and Kexts better since you were able to make your own dsdt) From top of my head I can only think of 3 differences we might have in our HW setup (i7-740 QM, 16 GB RAM,128 GB SSD) and one SW (boot loader I use Chameleon-2.1svn-r2069). Any suggestions or pointers where to go for help would be greatly appreciated. I'll donate few bucks to get you If I get the wifi working.

I have a Logitech Quickcam Pro for Notebooks (see attached lsusb output). My host OS is Fedora 9 with kernel -76.fc9.i686 and I'm running Virtual Box. I have a Samsung X11 laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo (2.16 GHz) processor and 2 GB of RAM. The guest OS is Windows XP SP3 and I'm giving it 1 GB RAM and 30 GB hdd. I've downloaded the current latest Logitech Quickcam for Notebooks drivers (qc1150.exe) from the Logitech website. The drivers installed correctly without any problems, as far as I can tell comparing with the native windows installation. But then, when I tried to use the web cam, the led on the cam goes on and off correctly but there isn't any picture. Looks like the program is controlling the web cam but couldn't get any picture. Sometimes the Logitech program even crashes, but when I start it again (no reboot, no plug out/in of the web cam) it works like before (no crash, but no picture or sound). Sound is not working too. The host OS ( Fedora 9).
